It's not perfect, but it'd be good enough for me (assuming this is a nonmagical spider, not some hyperintelligent fiendish wunderbiest with legendary actions and lair actions). The Tarrasque is of course an option, but I think the legendary monster capable of destroying the world should be something more than just a huge fuck-off spider.Īre there any statblocks from previous editions for dragon-sized spiders I could use as a starting off point, or some other monsters the spider could represent? It's the size of an ancient dragon, so it should obviously represent something huge and terrifying. I want to use it at some point in my D&D campaigns, but so far I haven't found a good representative statblock for it. I've owned it for almost 7 years and never painted it, but neither have I sold it because it's a spectacular model which I want to paint with all the care it deserves. One of those is an Arachnarok Spider from my defunct and mostly sold Orcs and Goblins army. Thus, I have a sizeable collection of various miniatures which I use in my campaigns.
